JUNE 8TH - FERRY RIDE

Today was a long day, starting at 4:00AM and getting to bed around 11:30PM.  We had a very pretty day with lots of sun as you can see by the pictures.  There were several lighthouses along the way and some are pretty neat like the one in the attached picture - I doubt that they get into town very often.  You can see that this was a very large ferry with busses and lots of cars.  It is designed for 600 passengers but I would guess that it wasn't even 1/4 full.  It was only one year old and was very first class. Brad got a picture of the tail of a Whale but I didn't have my camera when we went saw it. The map is a bit messed up, possibly because I turned the tracker on and off several times during the ferry ride.
